Endless / Purge

Efdemin and Vril. revisit Endless / Purge, originally released in 2021 as the only release on the short-lived Sun Sad imprint, launched by Kinzua’s Lucas Brell. Five years later, it returns on Confusion Is Next To Happiness in a revised and expanded edition. The original recordings have been newly mixed and remastered by Rashad Becker and are complemented by a previously unreleased Vril. reinterpretation of Endless. Throughout the record, arpeggiated sequences drift through layers of fi nely textured dub haze, balancing physical momentum with an fl oating sense of weightlessness. While retaining the artists’ unmistakable sonic signatures, the record subtly channels the melancholic futurism and machine-driven pulse of techno's Motor City tradition.
